On Thursday, November 25, 2010, The Akumalian took the entire
staff to Hechizo in Tulum for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. This was
the opening for the 2010-2011 season for Stefan and Hui, so this was a special
occasion for them too. Needless to say, the ambiance, food, company, and
conversation were all first rate, and The Staff is looking forward to a return
later in the year.

Ingrid’s main course is the sautéed schnook with spinach, asparagus, and tomato with a butter sauce.

Steve opted for the filet on potato, topped with sautéed goose liver, with asparagus and Madera sauce. Fantabulous!!!

Dessert. This is Ingrid’s mocha crème cheese flan.

Steve just cannot stay away from the chocolate lave cake with coconut ice cream and passion fruit.

Yes, it was a Thanksgiving dinner without turkey, and it was absolooootely mmmmaaahhhh-velllousss.
