Christmas Eve Dinner at Hechizo, December 24, 2011

The Akumalian took the entire Staff to Hechizo for its Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 24th.  This was The Staff's first visit to Hechizo for the 2011 / 2012 season, and it definitely is not going to be the last.

During the off-season Stefan and Hui spent considerable time and expense making some renovations to the restaurant, and they really show, especially with the furniture and lighting.  There have been some minor changes to the menu, and the food continues to be absolutely out standing.  Dinner at Hechizo is really a dining experience - this fixed price 4-course dinner lasted 4 hours - in another world, so different than what we normally experience in other restaurants along the Riviera Maya.

There is a new seating area in the foyer, and this can be moved into the corner by the bar on slow nights.	Here is the new furniture and the corner where that corner section would go.
